WHAT THE VERiFAIR STANDARD MEANS
Our verification process covers:
• Workplace policies and how they are implemented and maintained.
• Staff and manager training.
• Sexual harassment prevention.
• Handling harassment, including concerns involving customers, guests, clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Information provided to workers about trade union rights.
• Tips and service-charge arrangements, where applicable.
Businesses provide written explanations and can upload supporting evidence. Our team reviews the submission against the requirements of the VERiFAIR Standard and requests clarification or identifies gaps where needed.
Businesses must also accept the VERiFAIR pledge, commit to annual re-verification and provide employees with access to VERiFAIR’s confidential reporting system.
Every business holding the Standard is subject to ongoing accountability and annual re-verification.
What businesses receive:
The VERiFAIR Standard is maintained through annual re-verification, with independent accountability built in throughout the year via VERiFAIR’s confidential employee reporting system.
• VERiFAIR Standard visual assets, including an official display asset
• A formal verification certificate
• A public listing in the VERiFAIR directory
• An employee implementation pack to support structured internal rollout and team awareness
